Job Description for Engineer – Sales Force
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and Apex code and Visualforce page debugging.
Support the administration and configuration of Salesforce, including managing users, roles, profiles, and permissions.
Continuously improve knowledge of Salesforce and stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases and features.
Contribute to the development of best practices and development standards for the Salesforce development team.
Qualifications & Experience: -
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Certification in Sales Force Administration
- 2-4 years of experience apex programming / development on the Salesforce platform, including Visualforce and Lightning components.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS is expected
- Experience with Salesforce APIs, data management, and administration.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Additional technology experience will help for development of bespoke applications.
Sales Force candidate required skills:-
- Hands-on salesforce administration/developer experience
- Must know Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities ,Quotations, Contracts ,Projects modules.
- All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
- Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders
- layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports
- Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
- Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports
- Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
- Monitor and improve user adoption
- User training and creating training materials.
- Salesforce Certification will be added advantage
